On the way to do our weekly grocery shopping this weekend, I spotted a Voluspa Japonica Advent Calendar at 60% discount. The box was damaged and I guess the first 11 days of December had passed so it was passé for most people. For me, however, I leapt at the chance to try new fragrances and have a fancy gold wick trimmer.
The candles have a 25-hour burn time and the fragrances are:

- Baltic Amber

- Moso Bamboo

- Gilt Pomander & Hinoki

The box is really beautiful – solid with lovely little drawers with satin pulls and a magnetic closure. The one I have was torn – and unfixable despite my best efforts – so I won’t keep it, but on the other hand, I did get an amazing discount.
I am not a fan of spicey fragrances but I will regift any ones that are not for me, so this was a win all round.
