For some reason, my skin is unusually dry at the moment. I am well-versed in moisturising, to the extent that my family teases me about it, but this is something beyond that. My heels are cracking, the skin on my hands is constantly tight, my face is really really dry and my body is so dry that it is itching.
I am not sure what has caused this because it has not been particularly cold lately, the air has not been unusually dry, and I have not changed anything in my routine. I do have seasonal allergies though, so maybe that’s it.
I bought this and have been trying it. It is not as rich as Weleda’s Skin Food or as greasy as Elizabeth Arden Eight-Hour Cream, but it does give me some relief. I still have to put another richer cream over it, but maybe as the dryness improves (I hope it does!) this will be enough on its own.
